Bathurst Tours journey began in 2015 with passionate local Ian Redpath who had bus touring in his blood, inheriting it from his Grandfather Kenneth Cale, who ran a family coach tour business offering day adventures from Katoomba to Jenolan caves in 1923. After many tours and adventures under Ian’s watch, in December 2021, Ian and Kerrie Redpath handed the Bathurst Tours reigns over to Bathurst Community Transport.
Bathurst Community Transport obviously have transportation in their veins and with a flawless reputation as a professional, kind, and caring transport business since 1978, the transition into bus touring for fun and adventure has come naturally.
Kathryn, Domino and the team, are loving the diversification of their business and the many more fascinating people they are meeting along the way.
Visitors and adventurous locals are getting the premium tour and transfer service they deserve and at the same time profits made from Bathurst Tours are being reinvested back into Bathurst Community Transport guaranteeing the service’s future. It’s a win – win for everyone.

Bathurst Tours carries full Transport for NSW Bus Operators Accreditation (Accreditation Number: 16876) and holds a Point-to-Point Transport Accreditation. All driver’s hold Bus Driver Authorities have Working with Children Checks and National Police Checks. Our bus maintenance program exceeds the manufacturer’s requirements.
