Are you a friendly office allrounder with accounts experience looking for a new challenge in a great work environment? As our Accounts and Administration Officer you will be responsible for helping our lovely clients by taking and managing their bookings for transport and running our accounts.

The Accounts and Administration Officer is responsible for:

  • Day to day administration of financial operations, using Xero
  • Process accounts payable
  • Ensure accurate invoicing of accounts receivable
  • Process weekly banking
  • Reconciliation of bank statements and general monitoring of bank accounts
  • Liaising with accountant in consultation with CEO
  • Take and a manage client bookings and answer client enquiries
  • Contribute to ensuring that services run as close to schedule as possible
  • Ensure database is up to date and maintained for clients and all transport services
  • Undertaking scheduling of vehicles, production of run sheets and driver allocation
  • Liaising with drivers and volunteers
  • Prepare statistical reports as required
  • Providing administrative support to the CEO as needed

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience in accounts payable and receivable using Xero
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with members and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated high level verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work with minimal supervision
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience and confidence using MS Word, Excel and Outlook and database programs
