Our private group tours usually require 8 people or more and are the most economical for groups of 10-12 or more. See our BATHURST TOURS page for more information or to enquire about what price would apply to your specific situation.

Please email us at booking@bathursttours.com.au. This must be done a minimum of 14 days before your tour departs (please note different minimum times apply to tours charged with a group price). To read all of the details regarding bookings, cancellations and other terms please visit our Terms and Conditions page.

What happen’s if we miss our pick up?2023-05-26T10:57:11+10:00

Our drivers may be able to wait a maximum of 10 minutes past your given departure time on our Bathurst Tours if time permits however this is not guaranteed (it is up to the driver’s discretion on the day). “Holding up” the bus and making other guests wait is obviously not fair to others and our tours must run as close to time as possible as the cellar doors require us to arrive within 15 minutes of our booked tasting time or they may not serve the group which obviously affects everyone else on the tour.

Generally we cannot wait for late passengers (regardless of the reason) and we also cannot offer refunds or tour date changes as we will still have held that spot on the tour whether you attend on the day or not. It is best to arrive at the departure point 10 minutes before your given time to ensure you don’t miss the departure!

Are there vegetarian and/or gluten free lunch options available?2022-02-14T12:04:02+11:00

Vegetarian and/or gluten free options are available at most of the lunch venues we visit however we cannot guarantee it. Please advise dietary requirements in advance.

I booked a wine tour with Bathurst Tours and was very impressed with the service from the first enquiry to the end of the trip. The tour was perfectly suited to us and what we wanted to experience on a Saturday afternoon. The places we visited were very accommodating of a medium sized group. The driver was informative and pleasant and gentlemanly. We had an awesome day and will use Bathurst Tours again.

Hired Bathurst Tours for a Wine and Gin half day tour for a Hens Party. Bathurst Tours was great to deal with, very professional and friendly with lots of experience. Everything was taken care of which made the day very enjoyable. Highly recommend using Bathurst Tours. Thanks for a great day!

Having driven through Bathurst on many occasions over the years, I was unaware of its wonderful 19th century buildings. Our guide was fun to be with, mixing the right balance of knowledge, professionalism and light heartedness. Ian is proud of his city, and with good reason. It’s history is very interesting.

Bathurst Tours was so well organised and accommodating. We organised our trip last minute but they were so helpful and got the seven of us into three wineries. Thanks for a great day!

Our personalised day tour to these excellent privately owned gardens was made even more enable by Bathurst Tours. Amazing day and to top it off a top quality lunch in the private Green house. I would have no hesitation to recommend this place and Bathurst tours to all. Thank you for this special time.

This week we had the pleasure of being looked after by Domino, and her team. We spent 5 days in Bathurst with our Probus group from The Hunter. Everything was spot on.Our driver on the day trips was informative without overdoing it, the bus was modern, clean and reliable and on time.

Domino was efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable. Our group was treated with respect and friendliness. On behalf of our group we would recommend Bathurst Tours for any travel needs.

Domino and Scott from Bathurst Tours were exceptional. They accommodated all our requests on a private tour of Mayfield Garden, showing care and assistance to my 87 year old mother with low mobility. We booked with Bathurst tours, as they were the only provider offering private tours of Mayfield Garden, and we wanted a memorable day for both our Mum’s (age 80 & 87). Whilst being on the pricey side, we were willing to pay, just to make the day special for our Mum’s. Having done the tour, we can now say that it was worth every single cent, plus we had some added little bonuses along the way. If you love your gardens, and want to experience authentic hospitality and taste the local food of the region, a private tour of Mayfield Garden with Bathurst Tours is the only way to do it, and we’ll be coming back to do it again!
